The room was full of attendees interested in learning more about this powerful WordPress editing tool. WordCamp Europe 2023 it was an incredible experience. We had a week full of excitement, new and old friends and laughter, especially lots of laughter.

I worked as a volunteer and had the honor of being part of a such an important event in the world of WordPress. From the moment I arrived at the event, I could feel the energy and excitement in the air. The organizers went to great lengths to ensure that everything was in place and that attendees had an unforgettable experience.

My main goal as a volunteer was to help the photography equipment. Although it was also great to see the smiles on the faces of the participants when I offered help or answered their questions.

One of the highlights of my volunteer experience was the opportunity to meet amazing people from all over the world. In between sessions, I had the opportunity to speak with WordPress developers, designers, bloggers, and users. We share ideas, experiences and thoughts that give me a new perspective on a professional level.

Apart from meetings, workshops and round tables, there were also social events and parties where I was able to enjoy the company of other volunteers and participants. These moments were very special and I loved being able to share with people like Amadeu y Joan of Sirvelia, Charlotte Galvan, the fantastic YITH team, Gustavo Galatti o Fede Padilla. I know I've left important people in the dark, but my partner Isa has asked me for a summary of my experience at WordCamp and I'm already taking too long 😛

WordCamp Europe 2023 was not only a learning and working event, but also one of inspiration. Listening to people with so much experience, sharing their thoughts and knowledge will help me to explore new ideas and approaches in my work at mowomo.

Ultimately, my experience as a volunteer at WordCamp Europe 2023 was unforgettable. I was honored to be part of the team that was committed to making this event happen and to be able to contribute to its success. I learned a lot, met good people and left behind things that I will never forget. I hope to participate in future WordCamps and continue to be part of this incredible wordpress community.

After years going to WordCamps throughout Spain, this time, together with the mowomo team, I have attended WordCamp Europe 2023, my first event outside the peninsula or Spain.

In addition, I have attended as a volunteer, which I would recommend to everyone if they want to learn and enjoy the event from the inside.

Seeing how hundreds of people manage and help to make WordCamp Europe 2023 possible has been a very enriching experience, since working side by side with people who live thousands of kilometers from your country allows you to learn many things.

During the WordCamp, my job has been mainly to support the photography team, managing and transferring the memory cards that contained the photos of the entire event. It's been quite fun, and with the little runs that I've hit (since the place where the event was held was very large) I've definitely lost a couple of kilos hahaha.

It has been wonderful to work with all the photography team these days, and with other volunteers who were in charge of the same as me 🙂

On the other hand, I have also had the opportunity to do networking, since the event was organized so that the volunteers had both volunteer time and time to enjoy the event.

This has been an unforgettable experience, not only for meeting a multitude of people who are dedicated to the same thing as you in their respective countries, but also for knowing in person the popularity that mowomo had in international arenas.

In summary, it has been a magnificent experience, see you next year at the WordCamp Europe 2024!

definitely the WordCamp Europe 2023 It has been a spectacular event and has made any week unforgettable.

I'll start with the venue, which was a huge and beautiful building. All chat rooms and workshops They were specially prepared and enabled so that attendees could enjoy them without any problem, which is usually difficult when there are so many attendees.

The catering was spectacular. A quality buffet with food of all kinds, also healthy. You could come over to get the drinks you wanted at any time, there were even cucumber water dispensers everywhere, something that helped me to be able to talk throughout the day without many throat problems.

Contributor Day was wonderful, they asked me to be the plugin table leader and I did it with great pleasure. It was not my first table of plugins in a WordCamp Europe, my first was the year 2022 in Porto, so I was already going with a little more experience about what interested those who go to the plugin table the most. I enjoyed my tablemates and made good relationships.

Speaking of my position in the event, I was like speaker to give a two-hour workshop on «How to create Gutenberg blocks from scratch«. I remember that early in the day while reviewing the workshop notes, I was approached by attendees who participated in the plugin contribution table telling me that my workshop was already full. At first hour of the morning!

Being my first workshop in english I was pretty nervous. But once inside the room, after a few minutes, all my nerves went away and I was able to enjoy a interactive and interesting workshop. Thank you very much to all the organization of the event for letting me give a workshop and also for the spectacular organization of the event.

Many thanks to the volunteers and sponsors for making these events possible, without your help it would be impossible. See you at the WordCamp Europe 2024 in Turin.
